Buckingham Young Farmers Club was founded in 1923, making it the oldest surviving young farmers club in Britain Buckingham YFC is open to anybody aged between 10 and 26 years old. It is a great way to meet new people and have a good time. Crucially, you definitely DO NOT have to be a farmer to be a Young Farmer The clubs are run by the members, so everybody gets a chance to have an input and even take on responsibility if they wish. Amongst the many activities members take part in are, sports, entertainment, competitions, fundraising and weekends away, as well as fantastic opportunities for travelling on the YFC Discovery Programme, supporting the local community and learning new skills. Whats more is that members also get the opportunity to meet new people, not only from their own club but from other clubs in Bucks and also the surrounding counties through joint meetings and social events.
