Farnham Royal Cricket Club, located halfway between Slough and Beaconsfield on the A355 is a wellestablished village club running three Saturday teams and one Sunday team for adult cricket. The first XI plays in the Home Counties Premier League Division Two West. The matches run from May to September and are of 110 over duration starting at 11.30am . The second and third XI play in the Morrant Thames Valley League which is now a fully integrated league with first, second, third, fourth and even fifth teams competing for promotion and relegation across 12 divisions. The second XI plays in division 2a, the third XI in division 7b. Matches are 100 overs in duration and generally start at 1.30pm . The club has a pleasant, fully enclosed ground in the village of Farnham Royal which hosts first and second XI and Sunday games. Third XI games are played at Burnham Cricket Club. Full time professional bar staff ensure that the clubhouse is wellmaintained and the members bar is open for business from 5pm 11pm Monday to Thursday and from Noon 11pm Friday to Sunday. Various social activities take place at the club throughout the year ranging from quiz nights and disc to our now extremely popular Fireworks & Bonfire Night held in conjunction with Farnham Royal Middle School . The club also runs winter crib teams in the Slough & District Crib League and has been known to enter darts and pool leagues and cups. In recent years, members have also been able to watch various sports events on our big screen television, including Premiership football matches as we subscribe to the Sky Premiership Plus service.
