W H Barley Transport & Storage Limited, first commenced trading in 1970 and was founded by our Chairman Peter Barber. It was borne from the existing family business of distribution within the Retail & Wholesale sector. The business grew from a need to utilise the existing delivery fleet more efficiently and the provision of a full load service to the local business community in Milton Keynes. Peter Barber was instrumental in W H Barley becoming an active member of Palletline Plc, in addition to The Transport Association. Both organisations have been powerful allies in aiding growth, enabling W H Barley to expand the geographical capabilities of the business, and offer its customers important service enhancements which support its well established pallet distribution and storage services. Over the years, W H Barley has adapted to the needs of its customers, and has invested wisely in a modern fleet, premises and technology, to compete in an everchanging logistics industry.
