I have 14 years experience as a complementary therapist and am fully qualified and insured. I first qualified as a Masseuse 14 years ago, and shortly after as a Reflexologist. I am a full member of the AOR Association of Reflexologists. 5 years ago I qualified as a Bowen Therapist and am a full member of the BTER Bowen Technique European Register. I am also a practitioner in, Reiki Healing III, Indian Head Massage and Hopi Ear Candle treatment. My main complementary clinic is based in Chalk Farm Road, Stokenchurch, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire and on a Tuesday I work from the Stokenchurch Medical Centre in which there is a dedicated therapy room upstairs, there is a lift in the centre for those who cant manage the stairs. One of the GPs at the Stokenchurch Medical Centre asked me if I would like to set up a complementary clinic in their new centre. Its great that complementary medicine is becoming more acceptable to the medical profession. My practice is within easy reach of Beaconsfield, Bledlow Ridge, High Wycombe, Lane End, Piddington, Radnage, Walters Ash, Nap Hill, Bourne End, Flackwell Heath, Marlow, Chinnor, Watlington, Aston Rowant and Oxfordshire . I do however, have clients who come from all over the country and as far away as Northampton, Hemel Hempstead and London, Twyford. Most of my clients are gained through word of mouth. I have experience in treating clients with cancer and those who are receiving radio and chemo therapy. I advise my clients who are undergoing chemotherapy to have a treatment a day before each of their chemo sessions, as it helps to reduce the effects of the chemo treatment. I also have experience with treating clients who have fertility issues and clients throughout their Pregnancy. Women who have Reflexology throughout their pregnancy find there are many health benefits from having treatments at regular intervals during their pregnancy. Reflexology can shorten time spent in labour and helps with a quicker recovery after the birth. Mums usually continue their Reflexology treatments after they have had their baby for general relaxation and me time.
